“The tabs run in the order our auditor's checklist does. I stopped carrying three folders to the audit table.”
Pest control for food plants
Pest control records you can hand to an auditor.
We service food plants and distribution centers around Green Bay, and keep every device, report and corrective action in one binder. It supports audits against SQF, BRCGS and similar standards. Your auditor, not us, decides the result.

A sample binder
What goes in the binder, tab by tab
This is a sample contents page. Yours is built from your own floor plan, devices and standards, and it grows with every visit.
Scope and site map
The buildings and rooms we service, where our work stops and yours starts, and who to call.
Program procedures
How we inspect, monitor and respond, written down, with a version number and a date.
Licenses and insurance
Our business and applicator licenses and our certificate of insurance, with expiry dates.
Device map and inventory
Every station, trap and light device numbered and drawn on your floor plan.
Service reports
One signed report a visit: what we checked, what we found and what we did.
Trend reports
Counts by device, area and month, so a rise shows before it becomes a finding.
Corrective actions
Each finding, who owns the fix and the date it was closed.
Product list and labels
Every product used on site, with its label and safety data sheet and where it was applied.
Technician training
Who has serviced your plant, and the training each person has completed.
Sightings log
What your staff reported, when, and how we answered.

A visit
What a visit looks like
A technician signs your visitor log, follows your hairnet, jewelry and tool rules, and works the device map in the same order every time. The report is written before the truck leaves.
On every visit
Starts at receiving and ends at shipping
Every device opened, counted and closed again
Findings photographed where your rules allow cameras
A product goes on only where the label and your food safety plan allow, and it is written down
A short close-out with your shift lead before we leave

The program
Six parts of a plant program
Each one has devices on the map, a line in the schedule and a tab in the binder.
Exterior device ring
Tamper-resistant stations around the building and the dock aprons, numbered, checked and logged on a set interval.
Interior monitoring
Traps and monitors at doors, drains and wall lines, in the rooms your food safety plan names.
Flying insect monitoring
Light devices and sticky traps where product is open or staged, counted every visit.
Stored-product checks
Ingredient and dry-goods storage inspected pallet by pallet, oldest stock first.
Dock and door checks
Sweeps, gaps and seals at every dock door, written up with what we saw.
Drains and wet areas
Drain-fly and moisture pests flagged to you, with the sanitation fix named in the corrective actions.
Response times
How fast we answer, written down
These are the times we put in a new service plan. Your agreement states yours, and where we can't meet one we say so before you sign.

“The trend page showed a rise by the north dock weeks before anyone saw a thing. We replaced the door seal.”
“They sign our visitor log and follow the hairnet rule without being reminded. The report is in my inbox the next morning.”

Before the walk-through
Questions plant managers ask first
Are you certified to SQF or BRCGS?
No. Certification comes from a certification body after it audits your plant. We keep the pest control part of your records so the auditor can read it, and we say so plainly.
How often do you visit?
It depends on the plant. Receiving docks and open-product rooms are usually checked more often than dry storage, and your plan names the interval for each area.
What happens if an auditor finds something between visits?
Call us. We log it as a finding, go out within the times on our Response page, and write the corrective action into Tab 7.
Do you work around production shifts?
Yes. Visits are planned around your schedule and your site rules, and we confirm the window in writing before the first one.
What does it cost?
It depends on the building, the number of devices and how often we visit. The pricing page lists what moves the number, and you get the figure in writing after the walk-through.
